As part of our art direction for the Hemingway's Footsteps brand we commissioned artist Nigel Evan Dennis to produce six illustrations based on Hemingway's rich exotic life. The illustrations appear as full screen backdrops for the web site we built using Adobe Flash technology.
Hemingway's Footsteps stage luxury yachting and powerboat events inspired by the life of Ernest Hemingway. The 2009 Miami launch includes a six day tour of The Bahamas, luxury hotels, memorable parties, fine dining and total hedonism every evening.
The 25 year history of the Watershed is represented as a single graphical timeline running throughout the entire book. The years are presented as different coloured lines that ripple when intersected with historical highlights that appear as overlaid imagery. When used as a flip book the lines create an animated wave along the right hand edge of the pages.
